Test + balance
Chlorine, pH and alkalinity
The water gets tested and set so it holds through a hot week. Afternoon sun burns chlorine off fast here, which is why the test happens every visit, not once a month.
Filter
The gauge, then the cartridges
Filter pressure is read on the gauge. When it climbs, the cartridges come out and get hosed clean before the water clouds. Filter cleans are at $125.00.
Equipment
Pump, heater and salt cell
A look over the pad on the way out: a pump that hums, a heater that will not fire, a scaled salt cell. Caught on a weekly stop, a failing part gets fixed before the pool turns green.
